വിവാഹ ബന്ധത്തിലെ ബലാത്സംഗം രാജ്യത്ത് കുറ്റകരമാക്കാന്‍ ആകില്ലെന്ന് കേന്ദ്രസര്‍ക്കാര്‍. വിവാഹ വ്യവസ്ഥയെ തന്നെ ഇത് ശിഥിലമാക്കും. ഇക്കാര്യത്തില്‍ പാശ്ചാത്യ രാജ്യങ്ങളുടെ തീരുമാനത്തെ അതേപടി പിന്തുടരാന്‍ കഴിയില്ലെന്നും കേന്ദ്ര സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ ദില്ലി ഹൈക്കോടതിയെ അറിയിച്ചു. വിവാഹ ബന്ധത്തിലെ ബലാത്സംഗം കുറ്റകരമാക്കണമെന്ന് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ട് അഖിലേന്ത്യാ ജനാധിപത്യ മഹിളാ അസോസിയേഷനും ആര്‍ഐടി ഫൗണ്ടേഷനും നല്‍കിയ ഹര്‍ജികളിലാണ് കേന്ദ്ര സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ ദില്ലി ഹൈക്കോടതിയെ നിലപാടറിയിച്ചത്. ഭാര്യയുടെ സമ്മതമില്ലാതെ ഭര്‍ത്താവ് ലൈംഗിക ബന്ധത്തിന് ശ്രമിക്കുകയാണെങ്കില്‍ അത് ബലാത്സംഗമായി പരിഗണിക്കാന്‍ ഇന്ത്യന്‍ ശിക്ഷ നിയമത്തിലെ 375, 376 വകുപ്പുകളില്‍ വ്യക്തത വരുത്തണമെന്നുമാണ് ഹര്‍ജിക്കാരുടെ ആവശ്യം. എന്നാല്‍ വിവാഹ ബന്ധത്തിലെ ബലാത്സംഗം കുറ്റകരമാക്കുന്നത് ദൂരവ്യാപക പ്രത്യാഘാതം ഉണ്ടാക്കുമെന്ന് കോടതിയില്‍ നല്‍കിയ സത്യവാങ്മൂലത്തില്‍ കേന്ദ്ര സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ വ്യക്തമാക്കി. ഗാര്‍ഹിക പീഡന പരാതികള്‍ ബലാത്സംഗമായി ആരോപിച്ച് വ്യാജ പരാതികള്‍ പ്രവഹിക്കാം. ഇത് നിയമ വ്യവസ്ഥയുടെ വ്യാപക ദുരുപയോഗത്തിനു കാരണമാകും. നിരക്ഷരത, സ്ത്രീകളില...
